Soccer Assist are delighted to announce SA client Trevor Kacou has committed to a full-tuition scholarship offer from Heartland Community College. The Hartland Hawks Soccer team play in the NJCAA Division I. Trevor has a strong football CV with a history of playing for teams such as Bury FC, Manchester United Development and Manchester City Development. Kacou going to play soccer in Heartland will just add to his impressive footballing career and a football environment will only add to his game.
Manchester City and United development player was offered the chance to join the agency after showcasing his skilful tricks and agile movements at a Manchester assessment day in July 2017.
When making contact with the agency Trevor made it very clear that he wanted to receive the highest possible scholarship offer and he certainly agreed that Soccer Assist delivered as he has agreed to a full-tuition scholarship offer.
Soccer Assist director Junior states ‘Trevor has all the right qualities to excel in the U.S. Skillful, powerful and always looking to attack the opposition. A great lad off the field and the plan is for him to join some of the other Soccer Assist athletes at Heartland and help them win the Nationals. I have no shadow of a doubt that afterwards, Trevor will be receiving many look-ins from top NCAA schools.’
During the recruitment process, Heartland Community College Men’s soccer head coach, Jonathan Titzel stated, “We have an excellent squad but I’m lacking a couple forwards that can improve our scoring.” Whilst in talks with the Heartland Coach Soccer Assist recommended Trevor as he met a lot of Heartland’s needs and wants. After viewing Trevor’s highlight tape Titzel describes Trevor as a player who is “Really good at taking people on and seems like a goal scoring threat” and offered a full-tuition scholarship.
