Soccer Assist are proud to announce the launch of the brand new Talent ID Camps starting February 2019. The camps will offer players the opportunity to be trained by U.S. college coaches, listen to recruitment talks and play matches in front of attending coaches and scouts with the chance of being offered a scholarship.
The camp is the first of it’s kind to bring coaches from North America to the UK and give them the opportunity to coach players and offer a first-hand experience of what it takes to be recruited and succeed at their college.
Soccer Assist has also teamed up with PLAYR to offer all participating players a GPS tracking vest that will measure them up against U.S. college players and Science in Sport who will offer recovery packs and insight into how nutrition impacts performance.
Soccer Assist Director Tyrelle McLeod-Bentley had words to share about the new service “We are continuously looking for ways to improve the player experience and by bringing North American coaches to the UK it eliminates the financial barrier for most of these kids. The camps will put the power back into the player’s hands because if you’re good enough, the coaches attending have the capability to offer full scholarships.”
Each camp will have a minimum of 3 college coaches across the 3 divisions
(NCAA, NAIA, NJCAA ) in attendance to increase the likelihood of a prospect being recruited from the event.
