Amelie Finnerty
Current Club
Charlton FC U21’s
Centre midfield
A two-footed central attacking midfielder and dead-ball specialist. Great touch and scanning gives her time and calmness on the ball, whilst her vision and ability to execute a pass make her a dangerous playmaker. Her intelligent positioning into spaces and linking up with different areas of the team (defensively and offensively) allows the team to keep the ball moving and maintain possession. In defence, she’s there to break up play and regain possession. In transition, she has precision and range of passing to start a deadly attack quickly or ability to shoot from distance, making her a very unpredictable opponent.

“I am delighted to provide a reference for Amelie, who has been an outstanding captain for our team this season. She leads by example, demonstrating a deep understanding of the game and an excellent range of passing. Her ability to read play allows her to make intelligent decisions under pressure, and she consistently contributes both defensively and offensively.
Beyond her technical and tactical strengths, Amelie has an exceptional work ethic. She is dedicated, disciplined, and always willing to put in the extra effort to improve her game. Her leadership qualities and commitment make her a valuable asset both on and off the pitch.
I have no doubt that Amelie will be a credit to any team she joins, and I highly recommend her for the opportunity with Soccer Assist.”
