A versatile and well-rounded midfielder who is excellent on the half-turn and strong in tight spaces. Ben is effective at driving forward to exploit spaces created and uses his wide passing range to break defensive lines and create attacking opportunities.  His passion for the game coupled with his natural leadership qualities means he is a very hard worker who covers significant distances every match and leads by example on and off the pitch. Ben is a natural goal scorer and powerful ball striker who is able to influence the game with both his left and right feet. Ben is a very intelligent player who has an excellent reading of the game with an expertise for winning the ball back in important areas both on the ground and aerially, helped by his physical attributes and aggressive desire to win the ball back. His composure and vision allows him to control the tempo of games and influence the game when stakes are the highest.
