Hallen is a modern goalkeeper who is comfortable playing out from the back and values maintaining possession as part of the team’s build-up play. He often positions himself high to stay involved, offering an extra passing option and helping his team progress the ball from defensive areas. While he prefers short, controlled distribution, Hallen is also capable of delivering long, driven volleys up the pitch when required to relieve pressure or initiate attacks. His main strength is his shot-stopping ability, where he demonstrates strong reactions, composure, and reliability in goal. Acknowledging areas for growth, Hallen is actively working to improve his long-range distribution and goal kicks to become a more complete and effective goalkeeper.
