I first came across Issac in 2023 when he agreed to play in a pre season friendly for our then under 15 team. He came in and really stood out with a very solid performance against higher level opposition. I was naturally keen to sign Issac there and then but his dad Russ advised me that he had already committed to Bromham for the season ahead. To say I was gutted was an understatement. We would be facing each other in the league that season so was keen to see how Issac was progressing. When playing Bromham it was fair to say Issac was there best player and progressing very nicely. Bromham actually won the title and my team were a close second so both being promoted to division 1 in the under 16 league for the following season which was competitive and a step up for all. I was always it touch with Issac’s dad and when the season finished I got word that Issac wanted to potentially come to the Mk Irish set up and pathway. I was delighted and registered him immediately. That’s were I really got to see close up what a talent this lad was. He ticked all the boxes in the modern day young footballer. Pace -power-technique- positional sense- awareness- honest-brave-leader and best of all a proper team player. I honestly believe this lad has a future in football I personally spent time in a professional set up at Yeovil Town and Issac has all the qualities to be in this kind of environment. He was a pleasure to manage and never let anyone down. Even when he was injured he was always in attendance encouraging his team mates. A fantastic temperament and he really is turning into a fine young man. It was my pleasure to manage and coach Issac and he deserves to go onto bigger and better things as his work ethic deserves it.
— Stuart Milne, MK Irish Shamrocks U18 Manager
Isaac is a top centre-back with a blend of physical, technical, and mental skills. He is very versatile and can also play at right back, left back or the holding role in midfield. He has an excellent attendance record at training and match days. He has a great attitude towards the game and always looking to learn and develop his game further. Physicality: He has great strength and good jumping ability which is essential for aerial dominance and winning his physical duels. Speed and Agility: Isaac is not like the old traditional centre-backs, he has been coached well and adapted to the modern game which requires them to have enough pace to match quick strikers and recover quickly from any mistakes. Tactical Intelligence: Issac has a excellent understanding of the game. His positional discipline is excellent. He has the ability to read the game well and anticipate the opponent’s moves which are vital for interceptions. Composure: Isaac is very calm under pressure, especially when he is in possession. He links the play really well from defence to midfield. Passing Range and Accuracy: Isaac is an effective passer of the ball, he is capable of short, simple passes to retain possession, and long, defence-splitting passes to initiate attacks. Excellent passing range. Ball Control and First Touch: Isaac looks to receive the ball in tight areas, retaining possession under pressure from opponents. He looks to receive the ball on his back foot where ever possible. We call Isaac a “Rolls-Royce” defender, he is considered one of the best in his age group due to his blend of physical dominance, composure on the ball, and leadership skills. He is an great leader and has all the attributes for a captain. He thrives on organizing the team on the pitch, he gives good, clear communication to his teammates. He is a threat going forward, and great security in and around our box.
