“I have known Nearijah as a player for six years and have had the pleasure of coaching him for the last four seasons at Histon FC. He spent most of his youth career at Milton Colts FC in the Cambs A League, playing up a year, before moving to the Cambridge City EJA team for two seasons. At Histon FC, he is part of a successful youth system competing in the Eastern Junior Alliance League (EJA) and the Thurlow Nunn midweek league, regularly facing the best teams in the county. Nearijah is a double league champion at U16 and U18 level and has a strong chance to add to these achievements this season. His main position is left back, but he is versatile and capable of performing at centre back and centre midfield. He consistently shows a strong willingness to learn and a drive that benefits both himself and his teammates. Nearijah has a hardworking attitude, follows instructions, embraces feedback, and communicates effectively. He displays strong game intelligence, positional awareness, a good range of passing, excellent touch, and impressive composure on the ball. Nearijah would be an asset to any team, always working hard on and off the pitch and representing any organisation with professionalism. This is an exciting time for him, and I wish him every success in his future football career.”
