Niamh is a hardworking, conscientious and highly focused individual who consistently demonstrates determination both on and off the pitch. She shows resilience and courage in her performances and has an exceptional work ethic that sets her apart.

She has made an outstanding contribution to school sport and is an exceptional goalkeeper for the school football team. Recognised for her technical ability, strong decision-making and confident verbal command of the game, she leads and organises her defence with maturity beyond her years. Her commitment extends beyond playing, as she has also supported the school by refereeing KS3 matches, showing responsibility and leadership.

She maintains an excellent attitude towards learning and fully embodies the values of a true team player. A positive role model to her peers, she is known for her encouragement, kindness and professionalism. She is a true credit to herself and a valuable asset to any team she represents.
— Mrs Kelsie Copeland - PE Teacher, Bishop's Hatfield Girls School
I have coached Niamh for the past six years and during that time she has developed into a highly reliable and accomplished goalkeeper. She possesses strong shot-stopping ability, good positional awareness, and a calm presence under pressure. Niamh communicates well with her teammates and consistently demonstrates good decision-making in match situations, showing confidence when dealing with crosses, one-v-one situations, and high-pressure moments.

Niamh’s attitude to training and development are outstanding. She approaches every session with focus, professionalism, and a genuine desire to improve. She is coachable, receptive to feedback, and consistently applies what she learns in training to match scenarios. Her commitment to refining both her technical and tactical understanding of the game has been evident throughout her development.

Her commitment to football extends beyond her own performance. Recently, Niamh has begun coaching alongside me as part of her work experience, where she has shown leadership, maturity, and a strong understanding of the game when coaching younger goalkeepers. This experience has further enhanced her communication skills, responsibility, and given her an appreciation for the coaching side of the game.

Overall, Niamh is a dedicated, hardworking, and motivated goalkeeper with the mindset and discipline required to succeed at a higher level. I have no doubt she would thrive in a demanding college soccer environment and be a positive influence within any squad.
