Patrick is a versatile right-back who is excellent at defending the width of the field during defensive phases whilst seamlessly transitioning into the attacking phase once his team wins possession of the ball. Patrick can contribute defensively and offensively by strongly carrying the ball forward and producing effective overlaps with results; this adds an extra dimension to his game making him a dangerous attacking player, not just a defensive one.
