“Zion is a hard working and humble player. He is always trying to improve and this is evident through his exceptional attitude. Zion is not afraid to ask questions and probe his coach to try and exert every bit of detail needed to develop his game. He has come on leaps and bounds this season adding good quality on the ball during build up and create to score phases. This is a fantastic addition as Zion is a natural athlete. He is tall, fast, agile, strong and reads the game well. As a centre back he has all the qualities to keep developing his game and push on to the next level. A point to work on for his overall game would be his leadership ensuring he is vocal at all times and able to dictate to his teammates what they have to do during each phase of the game. Zion is an exciting player with a bright future ahead.”
“To whom this may concern, I have known Zion for 6 years; he has grown from a shy & timid boy into a strong-willed young man and centre back who leads by example. Zion’s work ethic and leadership qualities were evident and contributed towards my decision to make him team captain three years ago. Since his captaincy he has become a personality who demands respect by his actions on the pitch, he speaks when words are needed, and teammates listen. One example of this was when Zion led our team to a cup final victory in which he played a vital role in the group’s success. Calmness and bravery are just some of his many qualities, he holds strong morals and values which he will always follow. Zion has developed into a super athlete, a player who is extremely quick & strong. As a central defender his priority is to protect and provide support to teammates when needed. The definition of a front foot defender, aggressive both in and out of possession & excels defending 1 vs 1 situations. His athletic ability makes him have an impact in a variety of positions so can step into a number of different positions when needed. In possession Zion carries the ball very well to combine and create overloads in multiple areas. He demands a lot from everybody around him, teammates, and coaches alike. In closing, it is without hesitation that I would recommend Zion for this scholarship programme. He would add huge value not only to any football team on the pitch but to any school as a human being off the pitch. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact me. Kind regards Andreas”
